SOON GARIB RATH EXPRESS WIL BE HISTORY !

GAREEB RATH EXPRESS

Today I am going to share a very bad news coming directly from the railway department, The Indian Express and from other sources that our one of the most important train in our Indian Railways Gareeb Rath Express is going to be closed (discontinue) soon. Well the Gareeb Rath is not quite old, it was started in 2005. So that those who cannot afford expensive AC train, can afford to ride AC much cheaper than other AC train. Before Indian Railways is going to stopped it, there must have been some thought as if Gareeb Rath coaches were ICF coaches but these are quite different from other ICF coaches and their speed is also different from our normal ICF coaches. Now when all our trains are being converted into LHB then our Gareeb Rath goes on alone. The side middle berth of this train makes it different from other trains And that was the biggest obstacle to converting it into LHB, If the side middle berth was used in the LHB, then the Gareeb Rath was completely converted to LHB. Which is very difficult to do in this LHB, so to avoid all these problems, Indian Railways has decided to replace Hamasafar Express with Gareeb Rath. Now after this decision first of all, the Chennai Hazrat Nizamuddin Garib Rath will be converted into Hamsafar Express on 29^th of September 2018.

Now lets talk about profit and losses which we are going to face due to this conversion.

HAMSAFAR EXPRESS

LOSSES:

 1. The first loss which we are going to face is the cost, means now we cannot travel in AC class in cheaper price because the ticket price of Hamsafar Express is approx Rs.1000-2000 costlier than Gareeb Rath express.

  2. The person who were enjoying their side middle berth in Gareeb Rath Express now they cannot enjoy this facility because side middle berth is not present in Hamsafar Express.

   Benefits:

 1. After using LHB coaches we get some more speed in this train. Maximum permissible speed Gareeb Rath express is 120kmph whereas Hamsafar Express going to run at the maximum speed of 140kmph.

 2. Passengers get more facility than Gareeb Rath express such as coffee vending machine, CCTV cameras which makes journey more pleasant.

  3. LHB coaches are safer than old ICF coaches which is more important than other benefits.
